Frost Valley -6th Grade

Our annual field trip in 6th grade is to a camping trip to Frost Valley YMCA camp, located in the heart of the Catskill Mountain Preserve in Ellenville, NY (80 miles north of NYC). Frost Valley is a modern facility in the midst of a vast nature preserve, complete with heated lodges, modern bathrooms, and a full service dining hall. It is perfectly situated for this overnight educational retreat.

The trip is organized and supervised by Computer School staff. Teams of CS Staff and Frost Valley naturalists will lead hands-on educational activities designed to take full advantage of the natural environment. Activities will include team-building, nature hikes, orienteering, boating and a birds of prey show.
