All School Meetings

8th Graders presented our final virtual ASM of the year on June 15th.
This ASM addresses everything timely, celebratory, bittersweet, and tragic... students reflect upon graduation, celebrations, the passing of the torch, protests, and Black Lives Matter.
They leave no stone unturned and they inspire us, as always. We are so proud.

In mid-May, students taught us about Active Listening and Acts of Kindness.

About All School Meetings... 

asm diamondComputer School All School Meetings are monthly full-school assemblies. The goals of ASMs are to foster the values and mission of The Computer School, to offer leadership opportunities for eighth graders to showcase their talents and voice, and to celebrate the academic and creative achievements of the community.

Each month a different group of 8th grade students leads the ASM from beginning to end, introducing and taking part in various acts on stage. They plan around the month’s chosen theme, creating engaging skits, performances, and presentations. Ms. Shalom, Assistant Principal, delivers a short message of encouragement, and Ms. Seuling, Academic Coordinator, announces Students of the Month and Spirit Stick recipients. Our spirits are always lifted by the Spirit Team, of course, as they bring positivity and pizazz to our meetings.

We have explored adjusting to middle school, Hispanic Heritage Month, and have celebrated the upcoming holidays and our transition to 2020! Check out the Spirit Team's Holiday Performance, too!
