Peer Leadership

The Computer School works hard to develop leadership skills in all of our students. Each year, a group of 7th grade students is selected to train with our school counselors to serve as peer leaders. After training in 7th grade, 8th grade peer leaders support their classmates and the school in a variety of ways—they help new 6th graders find their classes, they give school tours for incoming families, they tutor classmates, they serve as peer mediators and they facilitate discussion groups for 6th and 7th graders.
