Farm to People: A win-win for you and CS!

Farm To People is an online farmer’s market delivering to to people in NYC. Their mission is to make it easier to eat well at home by curating farm shares and a marketplace with the best seasonal, local produce, sustainable meat and fish, and delicious grocery staples. If you participate, CS will benefit, your carbon footprint will be smaller, and you'll be supporting local farmers - just in time for holiday meals!

6th and 7th Grade Field Days!

Field Days for 6th and 7th graders will take place this week - on the 17th for 7th graders and on the 18th for 6th graders. On these days, we'll travel to Riverside Park where we will spend 2 periods engaging in various team building and competitive activities. Students will all get Field Day t-shirts and we'll have a great time!

Greek Olympics - The Battle is On!

On Friday afternoon, the 19th, 8th grade city-states will compete in one of the big events of the fall - Greek Olympics. They will test their strength, speed, and teamwork, and display their dazzling shields in spirited competition in Riverside Park.

High School Info Session: November 4th, 6:30 pm

8th grade students and families, please join CS School Counselor, Erin Hill and guest speakers Kate Prichard and Fareed Sajan of Bee Tutored, as well as Katie Miller, a High School Consultant. You will learn about the latest updates on admissions and get a refresher on researching and choosing high school options.

Election Day - November 2nd!

On November 2nd, students will not attend school because it's Election Day! Students will be sent work to complete and they will have the opportunity to vote for Student Council representatives. Parents and guardians, if you are able to vote today in New York elections, please do so!

Coffee Talk @ Da Capo Café!

CS parents and guardians: It was great seeing you at the most recent Coffee Talks! The next one will be on November 12th from 9 - 10 am at Da Capo Café!

PA Meeting: Adjusting to Middle School!

Please join us tonight to discuss the adventures of adjusting to middle school! The PA will let you know how to get involved and upcoming elections for additional parent leaders. The zoom link was sent via Jupiter Ed.

Virtual Town Hall & First Days of School!

We can't wait to welcome all of our students back into the building for the 2021-2022 school year! We have sent information to you all via Jupiter Ed, our online grade book, and we hope to see you at the Virtual Town Hall on Thursday at 6 pm.

CS Brave Conversations 3.0 ~ June 23rd, 6:30 - 7:30 pm

The CS Equity Team will be hosting an event, Brave Conversations 3.0, wherein CS adults and students address issues of equity, social justice, and how we can engage around topics that are important to our growth, compassion, and empowerment. 
This Wednesday's event will be the third annual community forum for the Computer School community to discuss race and implicit bias as we work to dismantle the systems of oppression in our world.
