Seeing returning students, and meeting new ones, has been wonderful - even through the our screens, messages, and google classrooms. It's been fun watching everyone's Flipgrid videos, and we hope that everyone has been able to iron out their tech glitches.
Thursday was the first day that students attended school in the building. Tuesday, October 6th, Cohort A will attend, and Wednesday, October 7th, Cohort B will attend for the first time. Please remind yourself of the safety protocols so we can all stay safe while we engage and learn.

-Complete DOE health form (you can print it or complete it on your phone (https://healthscreening.schools.nyc/ ). You need your DOE EMAIL to sign in. Practice doing it tonight so you know what to do in the morning. If you are unable to do this, we will have paper forms for you.
-Arrive at 8:55 to your designated entrance.
-Line up in your designated line using the footprints to help you stay socially distanced.
-A CS staff member will be there to greet you.
-Your teacher will meet you at the entrance to walk your pod upstairs.

Lunch
On a nice day you will be sitting outside, socially distanced, in the school yard to eat lunch. On a rainy day, you will sit, socially distanced in the gym or cafeteria. Lunch is the only time during the day that you will take off your mask. There will be no recess—we will be outside to eat and then will return upstairs.

-You will leave the building through the same door which you entered. Your 5th period teacher will escort you to the door.

-Please DO NOT bring your computer—you will be using a CS computer while you’re in the building.

-You must be masked and socially distanced throughout the school day (other than taking off a mask to eat lunch).
-You will not be interacting with classmates outside your pod.
-You will be in the same room and seat all day (prepare yourself for this major change).
