Respect for All Day: Emotional Wellness, May 29th

One of our activities was watching a live, online presentation given by one of Minding Your Mind’s speakers, a young man named Scott, who shared his struggle with and journey out of depression. This was followed by a Q&A afterwards with a Licensed Social Worker present. 

After the presentation, students met with their STARS group to unpack the experience and ask more questions, and our staff and teachers provided a menu of fun activities that the students chose from during the afternoon -  all based around Mental Health, Wellness, and Creativity. 

We are excited to have engaged you all, and we hope to continue the conversations. It was an incredible learning experience for all involved, while focusing on our mental health and wellness.
