We've had the good fortune of experiencing Alvin Ailey, 42FT and Cartography at New Victory Theatre, and the 8th graders are now collaborating with Theatre for a New Audience on Timon of Athens, a rarely performed Shakespeare play exploring generosity, trust, honor, friendship, and the nature of citizenship.
In a different form of "theatre", 6th and 7th graders will soon be arguing First Amendment case law in a Brooklyn Court House as part of our Constitution Works program.
