Music

Computer School 6th graders will be participating in a year-long percussion and vocal music residency. Teaching artists from American Composers Orchestra provide a comprehensive music program which uses hands on percussion and with vocal work. Students strengthen their connections to ethnic heritage, while developing literacy (musical and otherwise) through disciplined performance practice, improvisation, and creation of original works.
